education
We know it can be difficult out there. That’s why we give every ounce of support we can to all those in our industry. And we do mean ‘all’ — from professional designers, engineers, chemists, architects and craftspeople, right through to those apprentice painters, decorators and designers still in college.
We also know the importance of engaging young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities in schools and colleges. We’ll regularly give inspiring talks that highlight the many possible career choices within our industry, and support university undergraduates with exciting live industry projects.
our big ambitions…
protecting craftsmanship
Working with the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), we’ll be supporting talented craft scholars as well as junior craft events nationwide.
sharing knowledge more widely
We’re actively providing professional development opportunities to architects and designers, investing in apprenticeships and partnering with universities.
